Kaye Callaway, Clifton Art Alley
"Megan Morris' street art inspires and touches people who sees it. Gratefully, in Clifton Texas, that includes pretty much everyone. Her mural "Dreamweaver" is located in the new Clifton Art Alley, and Morris is the first hometown artist to return and affect her community by her boldly beautiful artwork. Motivational words reiterate her positive theme, and clarify her challenge to live life joyfully to its fullest. Moving beyond the historic downtown area, Morris involved the senior citizen community through additional murals near the Sunset Lutheran Home, bringing sunflowers to life and smiles to faces. Morris' gift of vibrant art cannot be overstated in this Texas Cultural Art District."
Lynne Dahl, Clifton Volunteer Fire Department
Clifton Volunteer Fire Dept. 300 was blessed to have Megan Morris paint a mural depicting our fire fighters. The large mural is on an exterior wall for everyone to enjoy. Faces shown represent past and current members of long standing. We are so proud that the outside of the building mirrors the dedication of members. Vibrant colors and over sized images look amazing on the building. It reminds our community of the dedication and importance of volunteer fire fighters. Many local residents and guests visit the mural quite often to take pictures. Megan worked diligently with us for a year in the planning process and approval of the mural. She was great to work with, very responsive and flexible. We are grateful for her expertise and are indebted for the beauty she bought to the department.
